Does ClapStory generate my images or videos?
No. ClapStory does not generate images. It turns your short videos into long ambience videos and lets you add a soundscape. You can use your own media or free stock content available in the studio.
What type of content can I create?
Create ambience videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Shorts, Reels and other platforms. In a few clicks, choose a video or image, add a soundscape, create your sample, then turn it into a long video that can last several hours.
Can I use my own videos and sounds?
Yes. Import your media, add one or more soundscapes and create your sample before extending it.
How long can my videos be?
The maximum length depends on your plan: up to 2 h per video on Standard, 4 h on Creator and 12 h on Pro. This limit only applies to the final video length, not your software usage time.
Is there an hours quota or maximum number of videos per month?
No. Videos are unlimited while your subscription is active. The 2 h, 4 h or 12 h limits only refer to the maximum length of each finished video.
Can I try ClapStory before subscribing?
Yes. First choose Standard, Creator or Pro: the 24-hour trial is tied to that plan. Your card is saved but you are charged €0 at the start. Exports are limited to 30 minutes per video during the trial. At the end of the 24 hours, the selected plan starts automatically unless you cancel before the deadline.
Do I need a monthly subscription?
ClapStory offers three monthly plans — Standard, Creator and Pro — plus a one-time Lifetime Ambiance Studio V1 license. The Lifetime license does not automatically include future major modules.
Which platforms can I create content for?
YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Shorts, Reels and other platforms: ClapStory supports 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 formats to fit your publishing needs.
Is it complicated if I am not a video editor?
No. The workflow is intentionally simple: choose a scene, add your sound, validate your sample, then create your long video.
